Eli Hayashi collaborative project is led by Douna Lim and Theo Pesso since 2014.
Their work questions the idea of survival through traces and hints. Investigating the thresholds of perception through variation of hypothesis, their works oscillate between strange amalgams and familiar facts.
Their collaboration is nourished with site-specific practices and generates contextual interventions as micro-events. Ranging from sculpture to installation, video-document to archive, their practice stands for an experimental attitude. Their work is punctuated with unsophisticated means, allowing them to navigate with ingenuity and to respond in close relationships with a given environment.
